Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit a website. They let the website recognise your device and remember information about your visit, such as what's in your basket.
We use cookies to make our online shop work, to understand how people use our website so we can improve it, and, with your permission, to show you relevant offers. We sort them into three groups:
Strictly necessary cookies keep the website working: your basket, signing in to your account, and completing checkout. They can’t be switched off, because the shop won’t work without them.
Analytics cookies tell us which pages are visited and how people move around the site, so we can improve it. They’re only set if you agree.
Marketing cookies measure how well our own marketing works — which adverts or emails brought someone to the shop. They’re only set if you agree. We do not currently use any marketing partners: there is no Google Ads, Meta, or other third-party advertising tag on this website, and the table below is the complete list of what we set.
We never use cookies to store sensitive information such as health details or payment card numbers.
Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies). Others stay on your device for a set time, so we can remember your preferences when you come back (persistent cookies). How long each one lasts is shown in the table below.
These are the cookies set when we last checked the website, on 30 September 2026, after accepting all cookies and going through the shop from the home page to checkout. All of them are set by Shopify, the platform the shop runs on.
The two optional cookies, _shopify_analytics and _shopify_marketing, were not present until we accepted cookies.
When you first visit our website, we ask whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. None of these are set unless you agree. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the shop, including the basket and checkout, will stop working.
At the moment no advertising or analytics service outside Shopify runs on this website, and when we checked on 30 September 2026 no cookie from Google, Meta or any other such company was set. If we add one, it will be listed in the table above and will only be set if you agree to it.
We do not currently share your visit with any advertising or analytics company. If that changes we will name the company here and in the table above before the cookie is set, and ask you again. You can learn more about online advertising and your choices at youronlinechoices.eu.
For how we handle your personal data more generally, please see our Privacy Policy. If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us at info@mccormackspharmacy.ie or call 052 6199329.
