These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with us. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
This website is operated by Melfer Limited, trading as McCormack's Pharmacy, 23 Bolton Street, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, E91 E0F1 — a family-owned community pharmacy business in Ireland. Melfer Limited is the seller for every order placed on this website.
Users of this website should be aged 18 years or over. This applies to placing an order, registering an account, and signing up to our email newsletters.
All products are subject to availability. Prices are shown in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. We make every effort to ensure prices and product information are accurate, but errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of an item you have ordered, we will contact you and give you the option of continuing at the correct price or cancelling the order.
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send confirmation that your order has been dispatched or is ready to collect. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, or where our pharmacist judges that supply is not appropriate.
It is your responsibility to provide correct and complete delivery information. If a delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect details and the package is returned to us, you may be charged the cost of resending the goods. Our Shipping Policy sets out delivery charges and timescales.
The sale and supply of medicines is regulated in Ireland and is subject to oversight by our pharmacists and to the rules of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI). Some products may be limited in quantity, restricted, or require additional information before supply.
Always read the label and any accompanying leaflet for all medicines, vitamins and supplements, and consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are unsure. If you are in any doubt about how to take or use a product, contact us and one of our trained staff will help you.
The information on this website is for guidance and information only and should not take the place of a diagnosis by your general practitioner or local pharmacist. Nothing on this website is a substitute for professional medical advice.
McCormack's Pharmacy is registered on the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) list of pharmacies approved to supply non-prescription medicines online, under Internet Supply List number 10001884. A record of each online medicine transaction is retained for two years in line with PSI requirements. You can read more on our Registered Internet Supply Pharmacy page.
Gift vouchers bought on this website can be spent online at mccormackspharmacy.ie only. They cannot be redeemed at the counter in our stores, which sell their own separate vouchers. Online vouchers are valid for five years from the date of purchase, can be used across as many orders as you like, and any unspent balance stays on the voucher. Vouchers cannot be topped up, and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. Printed vouchers work like cash and cannot be replaced if lost; email vouchers can be resent to the original recipient address. Full details are on our Gift Vouchers page.
Your right to cancel an online order, and the goods that are excluded from it, are set out in our Refund Policy. You can also use the form on our Withdraw From Contract page.
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it. The content of this website, including text, images and branding, is owned by or licensed to McCormack's Pharmacy and may not be reproduced without our permission.
How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or that arise from your misuse of a product contrary to its labelling or our advice.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
